Moving to Lewiston

Postby NVduck » Mon Dec 02, 2013 10:51 am

Hey I may be moving to Lewiston and was wondering if anyone could tell me a little about the duck hunting up there. Ive been duck hunting my entire life and it will dictate where I am willing to move for work. Any info you are willing to share will be greatly appreciated.

If you're going to live in Lewiston, it's time to put duck hunting on the back burner and learn to catch steelhead. Taste a lot better too.

You will be very disappointed in the waterfowling in Lewiston. If you are willing to travel a couple hours, there is some great waterfowling west of Lewiston in Washington. If you like to fish though, Lewiston is mecca.

I lived in Lewiston for 3 years and just moved about 3 months ago... If you are okay with about a 3 week migration season then its some of the best duck and goose hunting ive ever had lots of birds come into the area but leave just about as fast as they come in. It was very disappointing... If you like monster whitetails though its a good area
