I've been hunting a A.A. Widgeon with a 9.9 long tail for the last 6 years. Great boat for hiding but very slow. I found this hull right before early Teal season and snapped it up. It hides as well as my Widgeon did but is far faster and floats in ankle deep water. It's 13'6" and 64" wide.
Next was to sand it down and apply 3 coats of Gator Glide.
By then I had recieved my Copperhead 18hp surface drive.
Next was to find a trailer that would fit a wide low hull like that. Found one in Orlando that was almost perfect.
Took it for a test drive and was very impressed. 25 mph and runs through milk shake. Hides as well too.
Still going to camo and have since installed LED interior light, a Golight, switch panel and bilge pump.
It hunted great this year and next should be better!
