This is my little boat. DIY blind and it has served its purpose for the first year hunting. I have been looking for a smaller layout/gunner boat. I think that since I am from Bowdoinham I am going to have to get in touch with Buster Prout and try to get on of his Merrymeeting sculling boats.

Here's a couple pics of my 1448 MV. With my DIY blind. Love the way it turned out. Easy to put up and down alone, quickly, and bring in the dog.

Just put a new blind on her. Went through several different variations before this one won out. 15in gap out the front for viewing and it'll be a bit better broken up before the season with natural grass and such

Just got the boat of my dreams, yesterday, for $60.

Edit: Oh ya baby - it's a Ron Chapman - serial #RNPC1024C199 - new Cypress Rails cost $46. Only one problem - $90 to ship them to Central Arkansas. Anyone from Chalmette, LA, want to come up for duck hunt?

Here is how I built the blind for my boat. I used steel tubing to make the side rails. They are hinged so that they fold fore and aft and lay along the top of the gunnels. On top of the steel tubes are doors that fold in 45 degrees to hide the shooters. The wind block camo is 1000d Cordura and the rest is military style netting.

My 1752 Polarkraft with 40 HP Honda. Avery blind with ability to grass it or Oak limb it depending on the cover we are in. Trolling motor, dual batteries, on board charger , running lights , fog lights, gun box. Been a great boat!

And my 1972 Cushman Truckster pulling it getting ready for 4th of July parade! Rebuilt this old girl with my son a few years back, was a Chicago police vehicle at one time , 22 hp GMC engine, 3 speeds, top speed 40mph... Anyone can own a golf cart !

This is mine...finally started work today on her. She is stripped down and down to bare aluminum, ready for primer. Hopefully I can get it completely ready by teal season.
