Fellows the Farmers Almanac says this winter is going to be an ass kicker.
So far they are spot on.

It's been way colder here than usual. I'm usually hunting over open water (maybe breaking a little surface ice here and there) through most of December, but things have been locked up tight with ice since last Friday. I hate it!

it is a bone-chilling 37 degrees here in Parker, TX. I think it might be time to break out the parka...
I'm not saying that it shouldn't be done, I'm just saying it is ill advised...
