Looking for a durable Camo rain jacket!?!?

I need any suggestion on field tested products. I am leaning toward the Drake MST old school Camo.

Helly hansen impertech II. Macks has it. Just got one. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I use the outer jacket of the Cabelas Gore-tex Buckbuster. I sold the inner insulation jacket and use the Gore-tex as an outer layer when precipitation is falling. Completely dry every time.

^ I have the Cabela's dri-fowl 4- in 1 jacket and if I did need a light rain jacket I'd take the shell for that! but I wear the jacket and liner for 95% of the hunts I go on, rain/ waterproofness needed or not.

I can understand buying a product from any company and it fails , I know Drake had a run of waders that were bad.
But if every piece of apparel you had from Drake failed and it wasn't some small number like two ,
Something beside the product is wrong in the equation.
I have a full zip mst jacket , neck gator , beanie , ball caps , gun cases , blind bag , T shirts , vented shooting shirts , heavy cotton l sleeve hunting shirts and a fleece zip up under layer .
I have had most of them for years ,
I hunt 85-'-95 days a season and nothing has failed yet.
That's not to say eventually some thing won't because all things do but it has been excellent gear.

I've had too many of the so called "waterproof and breathable" membrane coats (Cabela's Gor-tex, Columbia's Omni-tech, Drake's whatever and so on) that weren't either. But puttng a HH Impertech coat over them at least makes them waterproof. Their Guide's Coat is far and away the best designed rain gear I've owned - so I bought two, in case they quit making them and am thinking about a third...
If you think I'm wrong, you might be right.

If you're going for waterproof, don't buy drake. Try goretex.

I agree. Anything Gore-tex is the only way to go to stay dry. As long as the Gore-tex name is on it I don't are who took the fabric and used it it still will perform.

I'm looking for a new wading jacket. I've thought about going top quality, Sitka, Columbia or Browning. But I like the word on the Helly Hanson here. Do they have one that's shorter for waders or would you just wear a coat under with the rain jacket over?
I've used Cabelas dri-fowl 4-1 a couple years and it's ok. I washed it with that special soap, I can't think its name. It's ok now but I don't trust it will keep me dry another year.

I have a browning jacket one of their gortex versions from a few years back .
I have been in down pours with it and never been wet.
Gortex is the key
The lower end fabrics won't hold up even my Colombia omnitech broke down.
to my knowledge cabelas used to have a few jackets that were gortex.
Any of the low priced gear like game hide isnt even in the same ball park.
