Sea duckin

Postby erp10 » Sun Dec 29, 2013 4:41 pm

I went on a great hunt with Black Duck Outfitters last week. I had a limit of ducks the first day by 8 and a limit of sea ducks by8:30 the second day. We got tired of shooting sea ducks so we went for divers only the third day even though the guides said there weren't many around. Had a blast.

I don't know how to explain " getting tired of shooting sea duck" comment...we needed a change of scenery. Some of the guys with us never shot buffies or ruddies and we don't see many around here...seemed like a good idea to get them.on some.

Did you hunt with Jayson? BD has one of the most solid reps on the east coast for putting guys on birds. Good stuff.

No we hunted with the owner Dan two days one day Todd was on the boat with us. The third day we hunted with Matt. All their guides were very knowledgeable. They were completely up front with us on what birds were there and what weren't. Dan said Jason has a job now that he works Thursday Friday and Saturday.

I heard these guys just got hit on the potomac river for guiding out of licensed blind site that they dont have the license for. The old owner Scott was a piece of work that for sure. Dont know the ins and outs of the violation but i do know Jayson is a real nice guy
