Trying to decide about where to go in the morning. Is Mason frozen?

It's still frozen but slowly thawing out. The few ponds that have open water have been hunted every hunt day. Birds are obviously wise to that right now. The last few times I've gone out there has been people posting up near me with no decoys and shooting the swing. Looks like the birds out there have been hitting the fields after shooting hour. If you're up for it take a walk around and see if you can find any open water. I've had some great hunts out there with just a sliver of open water.

Thanks Moose. I might give it a try. I was up there around Thanksgiving and had a pretty good hunt. I appreciate the INFO.
