Homedale area

Postby duckcomanderJR. » Sun Jan 05, 2014 12:18 pm

This is kind if a hard question to ask because I respect those who don't talk about there spots/honey holes but I wanted to know if any of you hunt out in the homedale area on the river I wanted to scout out there either at some point for the rest of the season or next season. I just want to know what the river is like. do need a dog and a boat( I do have a boat)? Are there public access points?
if they fly they die!!

dcjr, you need a boat and a dog is nice. The land above high water is all private up and down. The islands are part of the Lake Lowell refuge system. The river has a lot of moss, especially early on. Shallow gravel bars too. I'd have to say it probably gets hunted pretty hard, especially on weekends....
