Well, there is finally going to be some more water.----------In some area's, including mine, it could increase feeding & activity.
I've missed being on the X every time this season------I'm still tryin till the end & enjoyin every minute.

The wind will help but this much rain will spread them out. Now if it was windy, less rain and just above freezing it would be real good...... but, any day in the blind is better than nothing.

DO NOT pray for rain! More water = more spread out ducks. Holy cow I've never seen duck hunters praying for rain, except those who paid $1000 to hunt one spot all year...

Find the water. Maps are pretty good these days.

Pray for cold, not more water.

The birds have been pretty concentrated in certain spots which has been very good for us. This morning they are in every field around due to all the standing water. The water definitely spreads the birds out. Good thing there is a lot of eagles in the area and lots of birds. The eagles are constantly flying the fields, kicking up all the birds. We had 33 eagles in two trees yesterday.
Cut Um!
Real ducks don't have a competition sequence they follow! Hint, hint!
