Welcome cootcommander! Don't be put off by some of the odd comments. Congrats to you and your dad. I wonder if you were in some of my hunter ed classes. Keep coming and keep your dad coming, we need all the hunters we can get in the fields. Don't forget that the hunter ed class program has advanced classes you would enjoy too. Go online at the DF&G website, look under "hunting" and find the hunter ed class schedules. There are lots of specialty classes, such as hunting deer, turkeys, waterfowl, upland birds and pigs. And there is a super class on game care and cooking. One of the favorite dishes is coot fajitas, cooked by the warden who runs the hunter ed program statewide. I hope to see you sometime out in the marsh or field. My best to you and your dad.
