Coming to PA (help)

Postby Slack Tide » Tue Jan 14, 2014 11:46 am

Hi guys,
I am looking for something cool (and kind of close) to do over February break.
I'm coming from Long Island with 2 small babies but looking to get out of town. We've done CT up and down and looking for something new.
Looking for a nice big room in a nice hotel in a quiet area with a few things to see and some good food.
The kids are too small to ski or really do anything like that, but looking to give the Keystone State a try.
Not looking to go too far from Long Island (kids are 1 and 3)...but I'd do a good 4 or 5 hours.....
Any ideas?

Not sure how small the kido's are but I've heard good things about Great Wolf Lodge. Indoor Water Park and hotel.
Good,...Bad,...I'm the guy with the GUN.

I'd say come to Pittsburgh. The Zoo, the aviary, the childrens museum, the carnegie science center, they're all prime for kids that are young like your's are. My buddy from Rochester brought his kids down and they loved it. Too far though. My kids love the aviary. Great horned owls fly over your head and giant stellar eagles look big enough to carry a kid away.
