Not too bad. I just startd two years ago so I am still learning the ropes but I have a few friends that are good hunters and I have learned a lot from them.

I did a fair amount of hunting last fall and I have taken 3 weeks vacation for duck hunting this fall. I hunted in the Hampton Marsh, the Saint John River and the fields in Sussex.

It is kind of crazy but I am just obsessed with duck and goose hunting. I spend all my free time researching it or working with my dog or looking for ducks. It's crazy.

I took a few mornings or afternoons off earlier in the season and then I took the last 4 Fridays and the last two Thursdays of duck season off.

This year I am going to take a week in the early goose season if they have it again and then I will take a week early in the season and a week late in the season.

Dumpduck where do you do most of your hunting?

He is not in the Army. He works in Saint John. I am not sure where his "secret spot" is.

Well, we mainly focused on geese this year. We took whatever ducks happen to stumble our way. So I guess ducks were so so for the effort we put into them.

But we put the hurt on a lot of geese!

What about you?

Yeah, I remember trying to sneak up on geese....what a waste of time that was. It doesn't take them long and they are gone.

Where did you do most of your hunting?

Oh yeah....I have been down that way a few times...but never to hunt. Most of your hunting done over water I assume? Out of boat or from shore?

We do all our hunting in the immediate surrounding areas. There are farmer's fields everywhere....so it is just a matter of finding the one the birds are going to and getting the farmer's permission.
