Tumbleweeds and grasses ziptied to 4 ft high fencing material (the kind with 2x4" holes). Rolls up with a bungee and use a couple of conduit poles to hold it up. The next ones will be a little longer, so I can make a full circle blind if needed. I use it in bare fields and alongside creeks where cover is scarce.
Thousands of geese were using this field. Interestingly, they were near the old meter house. Hmm? Since they were used to it, why not? Set decoy up wind and the fun began. Limited out in about 20 minutes.
A seen above, the "trick" is just to look like something familiar that doesn't shoot at them. Have shot them from under hunter orange and yellow water control curtains and on wide open plowed ground dressed head to toe in white and laying next to white PVC water control pipe that was waiting to be installed.
