Live in St. Louis. Hunted ducks & geese in college, not very successfully, much like this year. Have an 11 mo DD pup, having a blast training her. Would love to get her some honkers to retrieve, if anyone needs an extra w/ dog I'm happy to oblige. Best of luck with the end of season

Hey guys, names Mike. I'm from Harrisonville, MO just south of Kansas City, about 30 miles. I'm 23, turning 24 Feb 3rd... Brand new to waterfowl hunting. I have a real good buddy, and him and I decided this is something we were going to get into because its something we've always wanted to do. Hope to pick up some know how from you more experienced hunters, maybe hunt with a few of you if ever possible! Always up for meeting fellow hunters.

Tom from Kansas City. I'm 23. Began hunting waterfowl in my early teens, quit for a while, and just picked it back up last year. I'm addicted all over again. I hunt mostly in the Mid-Zone, although my family owns a house next to Stockton lake so I hunt there occasionally as well. I'm excited to hunt in the north zone more next year, and possibly find some hunting buddies.

Hey all, this is my first post here. Just discovered the site. I'm looking to get into Waterfowl hunting this season and was wondering any tips/advice. No dog yet. I live in Northeast Missouri, around Kirksville area. I have a couple public places in mind but I have no idea how good they are. Anyone have any other suggestions besides Rebels Cove and Union Ridge possibly? Also I'm 23 and have an amazing girlfriend and a 16-month old son. Go to college in IA. Thanks guys!

I'm Logan. I'm 23 live in Columbia but am in the Police Academy in Moberly. If anyone wants to get together to kill some birds this year get ahold of me.
There's only two kinds of people in the world. Those who love to hunt ducks and those that have never hunted ducks.

Hey guys, I'm David, just joined the forum, and will be moving to Missouri the middle of March. It's been a long time since I have chased birds and look forward to picking it back up when I get there. I will be stationed at Whiteman AFB. Just thought I would introduce myself.

I live in Ironton, MO and am 66. I've done a lot of duck hunting, from freelancing on the islands in the Mississippi above St. Louis, to Stuttgart, to the Illinois River Bottoms, to some of the clubs in St. Charles County. Stored my decoys about a decade ago, but dusted them off this year because I lucked into a fully-trained, five-year-old retriever with a regal pedigree.

Hey everybody, I'm Rob. Currently living in Rolla, MO, originally from IL, south of St. Louis.

I've been hunting ducks for roughly 15 years-- freelance and draw-in public land in Illinois, some private land, a few hunts at a St. Charles club (don't judge), currently hunting a blind with my dad at Prairie du Rocher, IL when I can find the time to drive back. Done a few draw-in hunts in MO, and would like to do a bit more of it if I find time and gas money (Rolla is 2 hours from everything, apparently).

I've shot more wood ducks than anything else (except maybe teal), and never scoff at "others," as I've heard some people call birds that aren't greenheads. I still like those fat & slow birds, but I'm generally not in a position to be picky. Going to try hunting from a kayak this year, just to see where it can take me- worked alright for teal season, and hauls about a dozen mallard floaters.

Always looking for like-minded people to hunt with. Good luck this season.

Don't pm me if you have no intention of talking. Like R.K marking me as spam. Cause I didn't give info about hunting spots

Don't think I marked you as spam, colt. Please check your inbox.

Edit- Also, there might be a limit on sending PM's for new members, just to weed out the bots- I ran into that when I first registered, both on here and a fishing forum.

Live in the STL area. Hunt both MO and IL for duck. Mostly walkin/draw hunting but have been to a few clubs north of STL. Really looking for other hunting buddies to partner with in the area or 2-3 hours around STL.

PM me if anyone needs a partner or would like to hunt together one day, fired up for this opener next month!!
