Patuxent river ducks

Postby jake_carr » Mon Feb 10, 2014 8:22 am

Anybody know of what kind of ducks are near the Benedict bridge near aquasco maryland? Puddlers, divers, etc? I have a spot up there and haven't had any time to hunt it because of work. Im planning to hunt it a lot next season. The spot is close to the power plant. Kinda in between the bridge and power plant. Any help and knowledge of ducks in the area is appreciated! Thanks.

You are basically in the middle of duck central…. If I lived in MD, you'd be my bff. Go hunting and post lots of pics next year.

I'm further up the patuxent on hall creek. We get a nice mixture of puddlers, but the river is a hot spot. Get out and hunt it hard and you'll have many good days.

Don't forget your canvasback deeks on that stretch, either.
