Semi Gloss Paint on Decoys

Postby duckbusterach » Mon Feb 17, 2014 4:46 pm

I am painting goose and duck decoys and checking to see if anyone uses semi gloss paint for white on decoys. I've been hunting a long time and have always used flat white, but the older I get the semi gloss looks great to my eyes. Will it flare alot of ducks or only a few?

Hope everyone had great season.

In Va : it was the best I have seen in years. Getting ready to retire and can't wait for next season.

well a duck with water on its wings will shine, ducks shine a lot more than geese, just my 2 cents.
