My last youth duck hunt

Postby aceshooter31 » Thu Feb 20, 2014 2:24 pm

My dad and I went out for a weekend trip up to gray lodge for my last junior duck hunt. I did pretty well, I killed 11 geese and 12 ducks for the weekend and a banded drake mallard to put the cherry on top of it allImageImageImage

Just got an email from CWA... looks like there is a proposed bill to change the age from 16 to 18. You might be able to sneak one more junior hunt in probably not next season but maybe the one after that.

I've got a plan in action to change my sons birth date about 20 years later. Figure he could get on junior hunts until he's about 36. Gonna be great in school sports, too! And avoiding statutory rape charges, thinkng about it. This is a win-win all the way around!

The refuge didnt shoot to well on geese, only 15 the first day and 5 the second for the whole refuge. Image
That's the info on the band. And it was even better because I did all the calling myself and killed them all in the decoys[THUMBS UP SIGN]
