honker hearts and liver

I tryed a couple last season and it was so strong i had to fead it to the dog- Is there a good way to cook them? Did I just get some bad ones, or do they all taste like hiney ?

I never have gotten the heart to taste decent but goose liver, now that is another story. Usually I just fry it up in a pan but, I have made pate' occasionally out of it too which tastes, great but is a Cardiologists worst nightmare in terms of fat and Cholesterol.... :thumbsup:
