Well i've been a few times just have to much military stuff to do that keeps me off this robot. Mostly I just check to see if I've got any messages and split but winters almost here and I don't get out much so there's more time to BS.

Just got back from a 6 day hunt out of Ketchikan. Had a great time and even got a few ducks. Mixed bag of Teal, Pintail, Widgeon, and Mallards. Took me a long time to find anyone down here who was willing to go out and hunt ducks. Most of my buddies are only interested in deer hunting. Too bad for them.........

The Upper Matanuska Valley is froze up hard. Ducks gone. Nothing but my memories of some great hunts and adventures from this season to keep me going till next September. Been adding spruce hens and a few white bunnies to the freezer though, and am anticipating some fine ptarmigan hunting when the snow gets a little deeper. Gonna work on touching up the deeks and gear this winter too.

Once this school auction stuff is over this weekend I just might be tempted to get the boat back out there. There are a lot of park ducks in town still and I know that they go hang out someplace out of town a couple of times a day.

Skybust, you still going out? and if you are how are you doing?
