I remember when my dad first took me out hunting. I was probably 6 or so. We were hunting moose, and my dad had the rifle, I had a shotgun, incase a ptarmigan came up.
I'll never forget the look on his face when I shot that round off accidentilly. We saw a set of tracks. And I being my youthful self wanted to test to see if the safety worked.
Well with my great luck, I had forgotten that I took it off (STUPID) 'cause I thought I saw a bird (STUPID).
So anyways, the gun went off and my dad was to put it in a nice way, not happy with me.
I was just lucky that I was pointing the gun off to the side of the trail.
I could have hurt/killed someone or myself. But those are the memories you will never forget.
