Why don't you tell us about your first hunting trip. What did you hunt? Who took you? Who else did you go with? Anything you might think is important go ahead and give us the story.

Well the first time hunting would be with my dad, and that was too long ago, that I couldn't even remember. I do remember that I had a little toy gun that made a pop that I always took with. I always went just about every weekend with him and my uncle even if they didn't get anything. That was the good old times.

I remember when my dad first took me out hunting. I was probably 6 or so. We were hunting moose, and my dad had the rifle, I had a shotgun, incase a ptarmigan came up.

I'll never forget the look on his face when I shot that round off accidentilly. We saw a set of tracks. And I being my youthful self wanted to test to see if the safety worked.

Well with my great luck, I had forgotten that I took it off (STUPID) 'cause I thought I saw a bird (STUPID).

So anyways, the gun went off and my dad was to put it in a nice way, not happy with me.

I was just lucky that I was pointing the gun off to the side of the trail.

I could have hurt/killed someone or myself. But those are the memories you will never forget.
