Hello I have a 3 yr old male drahthaar that is in need of a new home unfortunately. His name is Ike and is an unbelievable duck dog. Duck hunting is the only thing I use him for but he is capable of upland hunting and tracking. He is great with my female lab and my two young boys! He is very energetic! The only reason I am considering letting him go is because I live in a neighborhood with a very small yard and lately he has been hurdling the fence and running loose. I believe he just needs some space to run. Because he has been getting out I have had to keep him kenneled and I hate doing that to him. I also have entered him in the local dock dogs contests and he jumps 18-20 feet! And he does the same thing on entry into the water after birds!! I do recommend that you have a shock collar for him if you are interested. He is imported from Germany and I do have his papers. I live in NE OK. Please PM if you want pictures or if you are interested. Not sure what to ask for rehoming I'm thinking $700 but I'm open to all offers thanks.

Have you checked with the breeder about taking him back? I know a lot of breeders are more than willing to help find a new home for one of their dogs.......just a thought.
