Duck Hunter's Garage Sale

Postby mudpack » Sat Jun 21, 2014 8:26 am

Put it on your calendar: August 16, 9AM, Great Bend Visitor's Center, 3007 Tenth Street (across from Perkin's).

Decoys, anchors, calls, layout, duckboats, waders, gloves, coats, headgear, stools, ammo, gun cases, spotlights, etc.
NO JUNK! Everything works. This is good quality stuff and priced right. Much of it has never been used.

If this is a success, I will consider turning it into a Swap Meet for next year.

I don't understand why waterfowl wear manufacturing companies don't make a camo sou wester.

Thanks Mudd, I thought you might have a nice used Columbia Widgeon sou wester in the mix

I'm getting all the stuff tagged and ready for the sale.
A few of you have asked if it would be alright to bring stuff to sell. I say bring it on!!
The more the merrier.

Also, one buddy says he's bringing his 18ft mod-Vee with 36hp (I think) longtail to sell....if you are interested.

Are you going to be selling beer there or do I need to bring my own? It clears my mind when buying stuff I don't need

I'm going to try to get off work for this. If I can I'm going to have a bunch of goose decoys to sell, maybe some other stuff too.

Mudd, how did the sale go?

Sorry I couldn't make it, but, I ended up going with my buddies to Salina and looking at some new private hunting spots one of them has found for us. This was the only weekend we could all go before dove season. Hopefully if you do it next year we can attend.

I think it was a great success, cluck. I sold a bunch of stuff, cONG sold his Dakota mallards, another buddy sold his decoys and several sets of Texas rigs, yet another buddy sold his elk hunting wall tent!

See my previous post with the list of stuff.....

That's sweet that you have a new private hunting spot!!! We're going to do this again next year and make it a bigger Swap Meet.
