Cork Slot Question

Postby ziploc » Mon Jul 14, 2014 10:41 am

I have 4 duck calls. On two of the calls you have to really force the cork in the slot. On the other two the cork slides in rather easily. Which way should they be or does it matter? I'm using Echo cork. Thanks for your response.

Make it point to chew on new cork to soften it. You can easily break the cork slot tab of call.

On the calls with lose cork notches you can run some crazy glue to the top inside of the cork notch to build it up a touch.
Chew your corks......if they are still too tight steal a finger nail file from you old lady and sand down the cork until it fits in snug.
