Getting ready to pass 11 years active duty in the Navy in September. I've been stationed in Everett, Washington, Yokosuka, Japan and now in San Diego, California. I have missed the last three years of hunting and am excited to get back into it. Hopefully I can find someplace to get my fix!! Thanks to all of those who have served before me, with me and after me. The military forum and especially the sponsor a military member forum is a great idea and I hope to have the chance to both use that outlet and respond in kind at some point. I hope all those making a deployment or already on deployment can stay safe and make it back home for another hunt. Good luck and God bless!

Was in for 5 years, just got out. Back into hunting finally! I am a park ranger in Utah, so hunting here until I get back to California later in the season. I was a 25C in the Army, with 2 1/2 years deployed time to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hello all!
I figured this would be as good a place as any to make my first post. I retired from the U.S. Navy in 1996 and work as a machinist now. I have not been waterfowl hunting since 1989 but decided that I'm going to start again this fall,

I am a OIF vet. Served with 3-2 stryker brigade. Still in the army and got less than a year till I get out. Can't wait to start a new life on the outside. I enjoyed getting the opportunity to serve my country.
