hows everyone doing

This season started out slow but it is in full swing now. Just wanted to see how everyone is doing, as the season is in the final weeks. Well best of luck to everyone and may the new year bring you more birds and a better shot.

DD,
Still kind of hit or miss for us up here. Some days are very good others yeild only a couple of ducks. Guess I still have some work to do. Would like to make it down there at least one more time before season ends.

I am in Mesa but will travel anywhere for a hunt. Went to Yuma yesterday to hunt ducks with DesertDucks. Had a great time and bagged a number of different ducks. We saw a nice little herd of Javelina grazing and a Mule deer on the way out along with a mess of ducks.
How about you, were you at?

live in Marana 2 miles from sana cruze river. I've been killing ducks there for 7 years but others have found my spots this year and then get upset when I'm at my spot first. LOL! I do run the salt alot but the last time wasn't so good so I stick to the river here I do have lots of spots on it. the problem is they fly for 2-3hours at first light and then there on the river somewere. then It is very slow so we're packin up 9:30 or so. was stuck in the mud for 2days last week scouting new spots got out sat. after our morning hunt.

sure wish I had a 6x6! LOL!

you goin out in the morning?

I have the 6x in my avator and a 4x that I use when doing easier trips. The rivers have been that way for us here. A couple hours in the morning and evening and then they are gone.
Marana is just down the freeway a bit. If you have time we should get out before seasons end.
I am having a get together at my house this weekend with a couple of clubs that I belong to so, won't be getting out until maybe sunday night.
I will be out during the week next week for sure.
