Walk around the marsh.

Just got back from a four mile hike, to and from my house, to one of my duck / goose hunting spots . There were lots of nesting pairs of both ducks and geese and a few young goslings swimming with their parents. Ducks sited were Mergansers, Blacks, Malards, GW Teal, and a pair of Wood ducks. There were over 30 pairs of geese lots of muskrats and a couple beavers. From what I saw it looks like we could have a good number of young birds by fall here in N.S..

P.S.
My 2yr old lab was going nuts having soo many birds soo close to her. She did really well obeying with geese only 10 - 20 yrds from her. :hammering:
Build memories, take a kid out doors and teach them about nature by interacting with it, hunting and fishing.

Learn from the past, don't dwell on it.
