I decided to try my luck with some snow geese this morning and it just so happened luck was with me!! I went to Frankford and met up with a guy who had a nice field with plenty of decoys and here are the results!! I posted the story in the Snow goose Hunting, but here are some pics!!

My buddy actually shot the band, he is going to send it in to find out and I will post it up!! The local farmers in sussex are more than happy to let hunters shoot the geese off their fields. They usually dont ever say no if you ask to hunt their fields. The further north is seems there is a lot less of a chance of getting permisson to hunt on farmers fields! Does anyone have a reason for this?
I mean I will drive an hour or two to go hunting, but I wish I could find some closer to where I live.

HowIdo I will keep you mind for next year. I know a few farmers in salem county that I could problably get permission to hunt their fields for snow geese. I also know where there are some fields the state owns that can be hunted. Some of the public hunting fields are about an hours drive. Some are closer than that.

Thanks Tommy, I appreciate that. My buddy and I are heading out this weekend to knock on some doors again, so hopefully we can find some places closer. Also, If you ever want to hunt in Delaware or Northern NJ you can come with us a couple times, we have some pretty good spots.
