Wetlands & D.U. funding

Postby DUKHNTR58 » Thu Apr 24, 2008 9:42 am

I was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with D.U. with funding for wetlands on private land & how that went. Thanks

I would contact your local game and parks office, nrcs office or the like about cost share programs. I know many agencies and NGO like DU have these programs but it will all depend on what you want to do, how much land you have etc.
Take a man duck hunting and he will eat for a day; Teach a man how to duck hunt, HIS WIFE WILL HATE YOU.

One of the bottom lines - is cost ratio vs acreage. DU spreads their money as far as they can, and sometimes avoids small plots that are not cost wise.

You local DU R.D. can point you in the right direction, or your area DU Biologist can too.

Good luck,
