anybody got a simple gumbo recipe that theyde be willing to let me know about? if you do it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

theres probably some recipes on here, dig thru the previous pages.

you can make your own Roux ("thickening" = oil and flour, browned) or you can buy it online from cajun food websites. Richard's (pronounced Ree-shards) or Savioe's are both good and the label on the jar has recipes on it. get some of that, and then you gotta get some Tony Chaceries or Slap Ya Mama seasoning!
