Whitebass Tournament

Postby HunterRed » Thu Jul 14, 2005 8:23 pm

On the 9th, my dad and I had entered a father-son tournament. Had to keep our 5 biggest which ours were 7.12 lbs. There wern't that many teams there so we ended up in first. This was my first tournament so it was pretty fun. Only got $120 and a plaque, but hey it was worth it. Has anyone else won any tourneys. If so what were your prizes.

Congrats HunterRed. Nothing like winning a tourney. Me and my dad have been fishing tournaments on our home lake for about six years now. We've had a couple first place finishes, one was really nice because there were about 115 boats. Nice pay day on that one. About $1,300. I love the intensity of fishing them. I enjoy a nice day out on the water any day, but it just gets a little bit more exciting for some reason in a tournament.
