Has anyone bought the HS acrylic Ringer in a double reed. If so how do like it.

Don't have a double reed, but I picked up 2 acrylic single reed Ringers at the BPS moonlight madness sale for $30 a piece. They are pretty nice calls with a good hail call and also a very nice bottom end. I bet it would sound good as a double too. I may try and see what it sounds like.

I have to echo what Quack said I have not blown one in a double, but I am sure they are good. I loved the one I had very versital call top to bottom. I may get another some day.

well thanks any way guys. I have always used double reeds, so I went ahead and tryed it out and it sounds great. I can't wait to try the call out in a couple more months. :smile:
and I am thinking of trying a singel reed but am not sure what acrylic to start with got any input.
