Thanks! With the way I shoot I will need it...

Tell me about there being a lot of geese around! The base is being overrun again! I thought you thinned out the population enough during the early season, but the migrators have started to show up!

Good luck everyone and be safe.

 Got a field on the 26th too! Morning. And that's when ducks open. So guess which one. Haven't decided whether to use the provided pit blind or set up the hay bale blind in the corner of the field to load up on ducks. There are always ducks early flying low over the corner of this field.

I hunted field 4 on Sunday morning...lots of birds flying, but not around us. It seemed they would fly off of the ponds to the south of the field and proceed east. Didn't even want to consider coming over to take a look. Hoping to get out on Friday.

Good luck and happy hunting!

Will be back on Sunday!

 Well we'll be there in the morning with a full blind. You know everyone loves to hunt on Sunday's. Especially with a good size front approaching. Hopefully things will be happening. Ducks early, geese usually follow!

 Weather was perfect, snow and sleet kept the birds flying all morning. But only 3 birds to show for it. We were there from 0530-1100. 1 goose and 2 blacks. Only 1 was mine the boy had the goose and duck.

Yeah we had a PM field on Sunday, we set up around noon time and had action right away! We were no way ready yet, lol
Had two come right over our heads as we settled into the blinds, no SAFE shot for them though.
Then for two hours watched group after group hover over field three, we turned around a couple of groups but never got em to bite. I think our set up was a bit too hasty due to the early action. we never really got our laydown blinds covered properly. lol
So we went home gooseless, lol but had a great time calling.
This weekend I cant hunt but next weekend I can.

Nice blacks by the way!
