Last Weekend in 08 Season...

Postby Erich_870 » Fri Dec 12, 2008 5:56 pm

So who's heading out this weekend to finish up the season?

The weather could make things interesting here in Juneau. Cold and clear makes the birds want to feed but also means we'll have to be very well camoed.

We have a super high tide too!

No one else hunted last weekend??

On Saturday I went out and got a tan facing into the sun thanks to the dang wind coming out of the valley behind me

Did manage to shoot my first triple ever on a flock of geese that busted me when I was trying to block the sun from my eyes!

Sunday I planned to take the dog out and hunt from shore, but my plans were suddenly changed with this guy decided to make his debut two weeks early :grooving: :grooving: :grooving: (I can't post enough of these to show how excited I am!)

I give you Hunter Alan. Born at 10:45 pm weighing 6lbs 6oz. He needed a couple extra days in the hospital to work on feeding and jaundice, but he's home now :amen

Congratulations on the new addition. My 13 year old's name is Hunter. I'm glad everything is O.K.
