Field with ducks...

Postby JDiPerrio » Wed Dec 24, 2008 1:11 pm

Hey guys i just came back from hunting a river and we acually walked out in the field and walking back was a pain with all the snow but we saw about a dozen ducks fly over and about 100 geese when walking out i was wondering do you think if i set up about 1/2 dozen goose dekes (all i have) and then a dozen duck dekes would these have landed in my spread. I was thinking about going there again friday or saturday. Thanks for the help and have a great holiday

If the geese aren't feeding in that field, you may have a hard time bringing them in with only 6 dekes. But, ya never know. Then again, if you set up all your decoys, ducks and geese, the ducks would likely swing by to give you a look at the very least.
