Being new to the forum, I thought I would contribute something worth while.
I did not 'invent' this formula, but found it earlier this year and currently on my second batch (gallon) of it.
Does it work, I think so, I have seen more deer this year, closer to me and killed more (bigger) deer.
It's cheap and easy to make. You can get everything at Wal-Mart and cost is pennys on the dollar to make as compared to buying the name brand stuff.
Scent Eliminator Formula:
1.5 qt Hydrogen Peroxide (3% Formula)
2 qts distilled water
½ cup of baking soda
½ oz of unscented laundry detergent
Mix in a large container
Pour into an opaque (can't see thru if you use the S&O) 1 gal container (I use a plastic red gallon gas jug)
Leave uncapped for several days to let the gases produced to vent off.
Store the "big batch" in a dark place as H2O2 deteriorates into water when exposed to sunlight.
Fill smaller opaque bottles to use in the field.
Good luck and happy hunting.
