Does/Did your school teach hunting skills

Today I moved our camp's archery syupplies to a local Highschool we share them with. They had a 3D target range and a 20-40 yd range. They also planned to take the kids to what they called a shotgun range. I never had anything like that so I thought it was pretty cool.

Does your, or did your school teach you any hunting skills? Tell us about them if so.

My favorite class of all times was in my 8th grade year. Mr. Hansens "Outdoor skill studies", I believe it was called.

He went over everything from using a compass, to dressing a rabbit, to gun safety, to even completing the Hunter-Ed course.

I looked forward to that class everyday. I still even drop by his class once or twice a month after skool to see what he's teaching them.

ahhh, the good times! :salude:
