Are you ready?

Well I think I am still ready for the weekend already. I hope everyone else is too.

Do you all have a secret opening spot away from it all or do you battle the crowds?
I will be in my secret Lair burrowed into the frag. My brother and I have been alone there three years in a row I hope this year works out the same. I broke trail last weekend then covered the entrance. It seems a shame it is this crazy on the opener.

I'll be hitting a public area along with the masses. I figure next summer I'll have time to do some scouting and try to find an out of the way place. I went through this when I first started hunting in Wyoming and it takes a couple of years to get settled. I even bought into a lease one year to escape the crowds. There were some advantages to it; however, getting more birds wasn't one of them. You can't beat the flexibility option of hunting public areas...once you plunk down money you feel committed to one area.

Good luck to everyone!
