bicolor lespedeza

Postby KAhunter » Fri Mar 06, 2009 12:24 pm

Has anyone every planted bicolor lespedeza for Quail/ turkey?? i know its great for quail i just have heard mixed reviews on it being invasive. While i know it will benefit the quail habitat and i know it has already been established in north carolina where i will be planting it, i just want to see if anyone has had a bad experience with it and whether it will spread like crazy and take over the habitat in and around my farm. I am trying to weigh the benefits/negatives. Also does anyone have a good alternative to plant in a shrub border for quail/turkey.
