Blind Building Tricks.

Postby yellodog1 » Fri Sep 30, 2005 2:54 am

Thought I would start a thread regarding good ideas incorporated in to blinds that I, or others have built. Things that others may not have thought of.

Usually when I build a blind I will paint all the wood a shade of light brown before I build it. On the plywood floor I mix in some sand or fine kitty litter to the paint before rolling it on thick. This gives some good traction on wet days.

If you have a blind made out of any kind of metal bars like 1/2 inch conduit.

i use 1/2 inch foam insulation to wrap around the metal. Then when you lay your gun up to the metal it will not damage your barrell.
