just got back from Scotland ,8th trip Iv'e been through Falkirk on the way towards ,,Stirling and Culloden moor. This time I stayed with a friend near Pittenweem and at the harbor I saw several eiders diving for little crabs

These are pinkfoot geese, about the size of your snows ?

This is the size of our canada geese, (1st one) the other two are canada/gerylag cross.

This video is my typical type of hunting. The geese roost out on the open mud flats for the night, then at dawn they flight off inland to feed. The trick is to intercept them between the roost and feed, its what we call wildfowling, its goose shooting at its best.
