I know this is off topic but anyone have any advice for first time fall turkey hunter?

Scout,scout,scout.Find where they are.In the Fall those Toms are'nt horny any more they wont come running like in the spring.Turkeys are creatures of habit find out where they come out at and they'll be there the next day.You pretty much have to ambush them,find a spot and get there before they do.The main thing is pateints even though you see them they may not be in range and since there a wary bird they take forever to get to ya.Have fun and good luck.....

try not to look directly at them, they are more weary in the fall and they can sense when something is watching them, just like you will sometimes get the feeling someone or something is watching you. keep an eye on em, but look away. stay still, so they dont catch movement. have fun... being relaxed helps a lot. good luck!
