I've seen some awesome trips come in...22 black fin tuna, 7 yellow fin tuna-biggest 158lbs., 5 wahoo, 9 kings, 42 Red Snapper, 7 Amberjacks, 19 bull dolphin,....an ice chest of chicken dolphin and I forget what else-maybe some mangroves 10-13 lbs and a few grouper thrown in..... And If I remember right-they boated two sailfish on that trip also.....
THAT was an awesome trip!!!
The fish cleaning guy Mack "The Knife" ....I saw him make $1400 from just cleaning Speckled Trout at $0.25 a fish!!!! He was cleaning fish till well into the night!!
That was about 7 yrs ago, was a good year for trout, after the gill net bans took effect-really helped the fisheries!!!
