Well I didn't read the whole eight pages but what do you expect when you can walk into any surplus store and buy a uniform.

From the way I have seen it even the guys that wash out of the 'Island think that they are "Marines". He probably couldn't take the harassment of his Drills so he got out, changed his rank, and now walks around proud of his "rank" and uniform. Good God I hate those guys...

Came across one of those a couple years ago at the mall. I knew something wasn't right seeing someone younger than me with gunny stripes and a stack of ribbons on BOTH sides of his blues. By the time it dawned on me he was gone :mad: :mad: :mad:

Last I knew was that if you were discharged out of basic then you didn't get to keep anything except underwear and dog tags.
