Service, Interior Observe National Police Week

The Service will join the Department of the Interior (DOI) and other Departmental bureaus in honoring DOI law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty over the years at a wreath laying ceremony in Washington, D.C. on May 14. The ceremony, which is open to all DOI employees, pays tribute to eight FWS fallen officers as well as the more than 700 Service employees now serving as refuge officers, special agents, and wildlife inspectors.
