Kayla DiBenedetto, a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service fisheries biologist based in Baton Rouge, La., carries an oiled brown pelican she rescued in Barataria Bay off Grand Isle, La., June 5, 2010, as part of the wildlife rescue and recovery operation conducted jointly by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, NOAA, Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research and USDA.
