U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Receives Nine New Amphibian Aircraft to Enhance Migratory Bird Survey Missions

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announces receipt of nine float planes During the annual EAA AirVenture show in Oshkosh, the Migratory Bird Program announced the receipt of nine new Kodiak float planes. These new aircraft will be more than able to take on the challenges of remote areas of the continent, and are vitally important to the Service’s mission to monitor and manage waterfowl and other migratory bird populations.
