		<description>Wow....Both stories are great.....I have yet to kill a banded bird....But to kill 2 out of the same flock that were banded and consecutive numbers is impressive...But to be 500 miles away from where you killed your 1st banded goose and then kill another one banded from the same location and consecutive numbers....Too cool....Congrats to both of you....</description>

I have heard of it before, but it is pretty rare.  Considering the flock might&#039;ve been a local, banded flock...the odds are much higher.

Some guys I know shot a band in E. Minnesota in the early season in 2005.  2 weeks later they came out and hunted with me in S. North Dakota and the same guy shot a band.  What&#039;s crazy is it was a consecutive number and banded from the same flock as in E. Minnesota.  So after it was banded, it decided to fly over 500 miles west and the same hunter found it.</description>
