It does go by too quick or at least sneaks up on you pretty good. Always enjoyed the Taz pics and your adventures out there. You guys get a lot done.

Taz has been both blessed and blessing.

Not just a day late now, but somehow missed last Monday's pic altogether. Anyway, here's a wigeon and gray two-fer Monday pic on Tuesday to catch up:

Here’s a couple shots of my young lab, Chapo. It’s his first season. Photos are from ohioducka5.

Thanks fellas, would like to have seen him with a good trainer. He sure seems to have several good years in him.

Nice pic! Kills me you CA boys are still out killing birds. We've been completely locked up in ice for almost a month. The land and stretch of river I've hunted for years and for whatever reason never freezes up, sold last year.

Or, like Ron White, he doesn't know how many it would take to whip his young butt, but he knows how many they might use...

It’s just starting to get good. One of these years you need to come down for a hunt.

She broke point and snuck up closer and suddenly started looking nervous about what might happen next.

:lol3: Believe that was the same sentiment my duck hunting buddies said when I bought my first lab.

I'd love to, man!! Any chance to get out of this frozen hell for a few days to kill birds. I love the beehive state 10 months of the year, but January-Feb are dreary, miserable and cold as a witches heart.

Decided to sleep in and hit the refuge for an afternoon hunt. The feds aren’t allowing any overnight or camping due to covid, gates open at 3am. Can’t tell you what a difference it’s made on the number of guys getting out, so I was pretty sure I’d get one of the ponds I was shooting for. First spot I check, not a soul. Set up and hunker down. Turned out to be one the nicest hunts I’ve had in awhile, just me and my dog and few ducks.

Went under and came up with a boot and a side of salad

Pretty peaceful walk out

 Days like that when the stars seem to align are few and far between. Sure is pretty out your way, think our mud holes would bore you both. The beast is looking good, seems like yesterday you brought him home.
