Lost a buddy.

Postby ohio mike » Mon Sep 21, 2020 7:39 pm

Sean's Chocolate Moose. January 3 2008 to Sept 21 2020. Been battling cancer for over a year and it caught up with him last night. Actually did a couple of short shallow water bumpers last week because he hit a high spot which seems common with cancer just before the end.

I know your pain. I’ve had labs for over 30 years and they were all my babies. Just think about what a good and wonderful life you two had together. He looks like a sweetheart in that picture. Just remember all the good times.

There it is. Wouldn't leave such a big hole behind, if they didn't add so much to our lives. My condolences to all who loved him.

Ah, damned.

Sorry to hear the day came Mike, Moose was a good dog. Think we can still chuckle about his stunt at the hunt test, Moose being Moose and did what any real dog should do.

I know he was a loyal friend, God Bless.

Always hate to see these threads. Sorry for your loss. It doesn’t make it any easier but most of us here have been through it. A good dog makes our lives so much better and they ask for little in return.

I've been spitting dog-hair my entire life it seems and saying goodbye to our pals only gets harder. I know it too well-- sorry for your loss.

Buried another one today. My long time rabbit dog, a beagle named Duke. He's been retired a couple of years. D.O.B. 08/02/2004 to 12/29/2020. Seems as though 2020 has been a little rough on my dogs too.

That’s rough. Sounds like he had a good run. I sure miss hearing the hounds working out a track.
