Hello all, I'm about to be getting my 1st duck dog from a very good labrador hunting line but I've been trying to find the best 1st time training program for a beginner any recommendations would be very appreciated

I suggest a search using keywords "Training programs" or a variation. There are hundreds of threads. In addition, there 's a sticky at the top on Programs designed to get you started. Might be best to read a little and come back with specific questions.
Ultimately training WITH a truly knowledgeable trainer has the most benefit along with training method material. Hunting Retriever Clubs are often mentioned and extremely helpful if you're serious about training a nice gun dog. Costs little, takes some time and commitment. You may outgrow it eventually but the experience is invaluable.

I have Fowl Dawgs 1 and 2. Will make you a good deal if you want them. (Do your research first).
